Wow! Red, Purple, Yellow, and Orange Tomatoes!

How should I choose which tomatoes are best?

Are some tomatoes really lower in acid?

Fresh Field-Grown Tomatoes: Slice them, dice them for salsa, or just eat them whole. Fresh field-grown tomatoes are a great nutritious summer addition to your diet.

Nutritional Benefits:

Excellent source of vitamin C and antioxidants. Tomatoes contain awesome amounts of lycopene, which is thought to have the highest antioxidant activity of all the carotenoids. Roma Tomatoes are great on salads and are excellent as fresh tomatoes for other recipes.

For those of you who break-out from eating too many red tomatoes, try the orange and yellow varieties; most of them are lower in the acid that causes the rash.
